FUTURISTIC UNICYCLE
I had a moment of inspiration from watching “Alita: Battle Angel” – the scene where Hugo jumps on his bike with Alita on the back and rides off to get some chocolate. I thought “Oooh! I wanna do a Tron version of that bike”. So I did. Here it is. I added a bit of retro styling in too, for good measure. I had some other renders of this bike at other angles including a Heads Up Display view BUT, somehow, Gremlins got in to my external hard drive and ate all of my files, so this is all I have left.

BEHIND THE SCENES
In typical fashion, I discovered a new toy. This time it was MOI3D – an awesome NURBS modelling software – perfect for this smooth, mech stuff. I actually modelled this in just a few days (after taking a week’s crash course in how to use it). By the way, I would totally recommend giving this app a go as it yields some really nice results with the minimum of ease. I have however heard of a new app called Shapr3D which is supposed to be like MOI3D on Steroids, so I will give that a go soon. I then took the model into 3DS Max, textured it up and rendered it out with Corona and then added the effects in Photoshop.
